2015 FALL LEAGUE RULES

  • NSA RULES WILL GOVERN ALL PLAY UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED
  • HOME RUN RULE
  • MEN’S UPPER DIVISION – 3 w/2 up
  • MEN’S LOWER DIVISION – 2 w/1 up
  • WOMEN’S – 2 PER GAME
  • Co-ed – 3 PER GAME
  • HOME RUNS THAT DO NOT COUNT ARE OUTS
  • PROTEST – NONE ALLOWED
  • GAME TIME IS FORFEIT TIME UNLESS WAITING FOR A GAME TO FINISH.
  • TIME LIMIT ON GAMES, NO NEW INNING AFTER 60 MINUTES, NO EXTRA INNINGS WILL BE PLAYED
  • MUST START AND FINISH WITH 10 (11) PLAYERS, UNLESS OPPOSING TEAMS AGREES TO A DIFFERENT ARRANGEMENT. NO LESS THAN 9 PLAYERS ALLOWED (A FORFIET SHALL BE CALLED) TEAMS MAY PLAY OPEN ENDED LINE-UP, NO MORE THAN 5 MEN MAY PLAY DEFENSE AT ONE TIME. TWO MEN CAN NOT BAT IN ORDER, BATTING ORDER MUST BE ALTERNATING MALE, FEMALE.
  • PLAYER EJECTION WILL BE FOR THAT GAME ONLY, UNLESS THE GAME UMPIRE SPECIFIES THE ENTIRE LEAGUE SCHEDULE. UMPIRES DECISION IS FINAL.
  • NSA BAT LIST IS OFFICIAL. CHECK WITH UMPIRE FOR VERIFICATION ON ILLEGAL EQUIPMENT
  • SMOKING IS ONLY PERMITTED OUTSIDE THE PLAYING FIELD
  • 10 RUN “MERCY RULE”, AFTER 4 COMPLETE INNINGS
  • MEN’S SOFTBALL – NSA .52 CORE, 275 MAX. COMPRESSION
  • WOMEN’S SOFTBALL – NSA .52 CORE, 275 MAX. COMPRESSION
  • CO-ED WILL USE 12” BALL FOR MEN AND 11” FOR WOMEN
  • DURING FOUL WEATHER TEAM’S SHALL BE PREPARED TO PLAY AT THERE REGULAR SCHEDULED TIME UNLESS OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED BY LEAGUE OFFICALS.
  • COURTESY RUNNER: 1 PER INNING, MUST BE THE LAST OUT
